There are just not enough hours in a day. And there is so much to do.
Not only work, which takes up most of my time, and I love my job,but also all the other fun stuff.
I want to read, I want to knit, I have taken up keyboard lessons, there are so many great movies to watch, not to mention the housekeeping, which I do often forget LOL.

How do you guys do it?
It seems my days are way too short!!

most of the days I just don't do it, skip some of the things I would like to do.
like the housekeeping!

and then some day (today) I do some cleaning that should have been done ages ago and skip the fun parts.

today I emptied my bedroom, esp. everything that was stuffed under my bed!!
now I have 4 bags of clothing for good will
a full dustbin
and a runny nose from all the dust :loco:

I have to take care of old and sick parents! I treasure my free moments! I seem to enjoy everything more then i did before and the feeling I deserve Me time makes me happier! Does that sounds strange? I can handle the somewhat messy household! There are more important things in life!

Right now, I am not busy. Last month, I swear I barely had time to breathe. I wish there was some consistency because while it is quiet now, May is going to be *insane* - I have graduations and birthdays and anniversaries. They continue through June. I guess I should take advantage of the calm ATM.

So recognizable Jeanette. So I want to go for a walk, take photos, edit photos, scrapp, crochet (I still have to make 2 scarves and the winter is almost over, although I have already made 2) I want to work in the garden, I still have 2 books that I have to read and yes I work full-time although I currently have 4 / 5th so 1 day off per week. Today was my day off, but I cleaned up the basement, cleaned up the wardrobes, so yes, I am constantly busy!

But when I go to work, I do like Diane, occasionally cleaning everything up and trying to enjoy the free moments and not putting too much stress on myself by having the household in perfect order.
Take time for yourself, because there is more to life than just cleaning : D
Take time to do things you like !

I'm retired, but yet the hours escape me. I can certainly tell that I have slowed down over the last two years. I live alone so I don't have "clean me" coming my direction from every room, like when I had kids at home, but I swear my house gets dusty even more it seems. I just take one day a week and clean and then if there is a mess I can't blame anyone but me. haha I only have one house rule and that is my kitchen has to be spotless before I go to bed. Don't ask me why, but if I know there is a dish whistling in my sink all night, I can't sleep well. Dumb, I know, but it works for me. One of my friends said she'd vote for 3 more hours in a day. I said NOOOO it would only be 3 more hours of the same old things, not clearing up any problems!!! :)

buzzard buzzard buzzard is band I like LOL hahaha.

I'm with you Jeannette!!!
No idea where January goes, but I wasn't able to read even one book and scraped only 2 pages, even I have list with more than 10 pages projects.I hate all the feminist that decided that women should work instead to running ideal house. After 8 hr working day, 2 hr cleaning, and 3-5 hr nursing cats which is the only part of the day I adore,
I'm so tired that I prefer to watch TV instead to do something creative! :mmph::flame:

I am very lucky I am retired I also have health issues with mobility I love my scrapping which takes up most of my day.

I'm retired but have discovered that being lazy takes up a lot of my time. I use google calendar and just move things I'm supposed to do to the next day!

I spit my coffee out on this one!!!! :spit:

I am unemployed (SAHM~>Unoffically disabled~>unempoyable) and I find that I go through the same thing. I have to think for a second when Google Cal asks me if I want to change only this event or this event and all following. Decisions!!

Oh how can you resist just moving them all. Frees up some space so you can add more things to move later. :bump2:
