Backup, backup, backup and Back Up!

Hello ladies!

Have to share - I recently had a hard drive crash (*gasp*)... I was SO lucky to have gotten all my pictures and videos back. I would have been just crushed to have lost some of my favorite memories... After some panic moments, I learned you can't back up too much. Now I'm signing up for an online backup service in addition to a scheduled daily backup to external drive. WHEW. Also love the Dell warranty that had someone come out and fix my PC right here at home.

After all that, I'm glad to be back. Even though I've only been here a short time I enjoy you all and I missed "the O"! Glad to be able to get scrapping again...

Always a good idea!!!!! especially with hearing on the news about all the people who lost everything - every single one I saw mentioned losing their pictures

whew!! Renan, how lucky that you got everything back. re: the online backup. don't be surprised when the initial backup takes DAYS of leaving your computer on. really. DAYS!

Don't forget backup drive can fail too so make sure you have another backup as precaution!
My backup drive failed and I lost quite a few scrapping kits that weren't backed up elsewhere! Now I've got at least 4 backup drives (I know excessive) just in case!!! It takes time but you will be thankful when you need it!
