Ok...so, we were going to grill and vacuum seal pork tenderloins for all our family members and give them a "meal in a box" for Christmas. We sorta waited too long and now it's about 16 degrees out and there's a couple of inches of snow on the ground and grilling is not going to happen. So it's on to plan B.

Two of my three sets of in-laws just had new babies. I get to go to a crop this weekend and actually scrap!! Any cute hybrid ideas out there for a baby gift? I know I could easily do a shadow box sort of thing, but I was wondering if there were any more fun ideas.
 
I might do some basic baby's first year pages in an album. Hopefully, I could knock that out quick! :-) Thanks girls.
 
16 degrees! ack!!! What a great idea the meal gifts are Sara!

The baby album is def something they will cherish for years. Have fun at the crop!
 
Nice ideas sisters but can you check out the links below then find me a perfect gift for my father for his birthday. I got some problem to make a choice.

not to swift at hybrid unfortunately - coupon for babysitting one evening?
If you have photos of their first Christmas make an ornament -
one easy way I saw was to over a blank CD leaving the silver edge. they actually looked lovely - a wee scrap page. or even CD album -
instructions said to cut 4 inch circle and go from there....
I'll try to find the blog I saw this on for you....

i'm still on my first cuppa and mind not very clear.... ;)

This is fun! I received a couponbook from my cousin (she is the godmother of my youngest daughter)
It was for 1 evening babysitting, 1 afternoon helping me out with the baby, 1 sleepover, 1x cooking dinner. I can't rmember what was all in there. But I loved it. I actually had to tear out the coupon and give it to her when we wanted to use one LOL
 
I see that this thread is old, but it remnded me that i never posted up my page I did for my godson. He has an cousin and a grandma in heaven. I took their two "symbols," a cardinal and Tigger, and made a page about how he has these special angels to look over him. I know it is kind of a bittersweet idea, but it was very appreciated by my SIL. As soon as I get it into the gallery, I'll post it here.
