... and your least favorite challenge?

I'd be lying if I said I love them all... unlike many peope - please don't hate me - I find Recipe challenges - the kind where you are allowed to use only the elements listed and nothing else - too restrictive (I always seem to NEED to add something else) and uncreatively organized (counting the elements and checking them against the list). And you?

I have to agree with you, Olga... the restricted recipe challenges are not among my favorite. Seems like I always miss something or have to include something I don't like to use.... like stitching or staples. I always think that the page is not hanging on a wall - so why are those needed to keep things in place???

My least favorite challenge is a White Space one... especially those that restrict photo and elements to 25% of the space leaving 75% with just a background paper. I love clusters and borders and white spaces seem to cry out to add them to all those empty spaces.

I'm not a fan if scrap lifting. I tend to get too literal, and basically make a copy. Don't know why I have such a hard time thinking out of a box.

My least favorite is White Space. That style is just so difficult for me. Recipe challenges are probably my next least favorites.

I usually like a variety of challenges, but those requiring use of a quote or lyrics are my least favorite. Kind of no wiggle room!

I hear you Kay.... I do love the look of a gorgeous white-space page... usually made by someone else though... when I look at my own pages - well, they all need a border/cluster/something to make them look complete... lol...

I am not a fan of lyrics either, Jean... mostly becuase I don't like listening to music that much and don't know that many songs...

I find it hard to believe you tend to have hard time thinking outside the box... I just had a look at some of the 1,151 layouts you've uploaded to the Oscraps gallery - and a great number of them are 'outside the box' type of pages.

I don't like challenges that are too restrictive like to use 10 papers or lots of photos or journaling like a novel ...

I guess you're right LOL But somehow, a scraplift is really hard to do. I guess it's kinda the same feeling of restriction that some already said they feel for recipe challanges.

Journaling. I really don't like journaling which is amusing in some ways since I tend to blabber here a lot. *looks at post count and gulps*

Quote, and AJ pages are my bug bears. I have nothing clever to say about my life, rarely listen to music and have to search for something to go with quotes.
Artist Inspiration is out of my wheelhouse but I use it as a learning session.

I just had a look through your gallery... so many of your pages are artsy... but I hear you on having something clever to say... I struggle with that too...

Seems like many of my faves are not faves of most of you i.e. white space, recipe, specific production specification/limitation and scraplift (which is my absolute fave).

I don't like fantasy pages, that is outside my wheelhouse and I don't feel comfortable doing them usually.

I have a hard time with color challenges, believe it or not. I spend so much time looking for the colors and kits that it takes forever to find what I want to scrap with.
I keep all the previews and put them in one folder for each designer along with where I find them in my stash and the link. That way all I have to do is scan through the previews to get the colours.
