I would love it if you would check out this blog site and tell me what you think! My mom sent me this link (my mom, who hates computers!). The lady uses it to journal about her faith. I admit I clicked the link with a certain expectation, and - oh my goodness, is she a fantastic photographer! (And a really insightful writer!) Everything is full of rich textures and unique and inspiring angles.
Here's the link to her homepage (with some awesome off-the-canoe angles as her most recent post), but I've linked to one of my favorite posts further below:

I found myself comparing my photography to hers... For example, when I photographed our garden harvest, like a novice, I crammed as many veggies onto the counter as I could and tried to fit them all in the picture! Less is more... This lady photographed the EDGE of an artsy basket with a few tomatoes and green peppers, with her kiddo's unfocused bare feet sticking out underneath. She captured my feelings about harvest abundance with a minimalistic photo! Here's the link to that entry, abundance on Monday:

Like my husband tells me, I really should learn from her instead of making excuses for my own photography. Her kids are older & more cooperative, she's in Canada (I think??) where the colors are more crisp..... doggone it, she's just really good!
So... please tell me what you think! Do her photos inspire you to try anything different, too?
