I am holding off on getting bifocal anything, I have one pair of readers now...I keep them safely on my desk, I think I should probably buy more, just in case! lol And Tim is often looking for his just regular glasses, but because he has SO many reading glasses around the house, I forget what is what.. I also have to say that he grew up with his family calling the reader glasses "cheaters"....I don't like that...LOL It just hits me wrong and harsh... :giggle4: Anyhoodle....yeah, I want to buy more reader glasses that are COOL....I only have one pair that I like, and I keep them at my desk.....
I finally gave in and got progressives! I'm sorry it took me so long to do it. Now I don't have to take off my distance glasses to see close up, or vice versa! I still have readers though because the distance from my computer isn't quite lining up with the progressives.

Mine aren't progressives, but I used to be juggling three pairs of glasses. My next pair will be progressive, but my doctor didn't recommend them for me this time around. Oh, that computer thing - I don't think they make bifocals for that.

Mine are!! My bifocals are for computer and distance. But then I dont read close up, I hold books about my mid-thigh to knee distance and so it does work for me. The computer at work is the wrong distance and the set up means I cant get it right so I dont wear glasses for work work but personal work like now on my laptop, its awesome. My phone is always in my lap too, not super close to face.

I understand what you're saying, Tracy. @AK_Tracy I got one pair of "close up" glasses and I told the doctor I wanted them for not so close up. I liked them a lot and I remember showing her how close up I wanted them. It was like you said.

Oh good grief - I couldn't stand it - I'm SO relieved that I found them. On second thought, let's break out those blue bottles. I SURELY couldn't lose them twice in a week. Could I?????:wine3::wine4::drinkbuddies:

Marilyn @MariJ what great suggestions. I have not looked in the refrigerator yet. I got up this morning and looked in all the "weird" places and no luck. I've even moved one big recliner - not under there. I haven't looked in my underwear drawer yet - great suggestion. I'm fearing that they might have gotten knocked off my big work table into the large can I keep in my office/craft room. UGH I've found them in some weird places because when I walk around in them, I can't see very well, so I take them off and lay them anywhere. I even looked in all the windowsills.
OOPS! My reply below is what happens when you read someone's "quote" to you and don't realize there's a page 2 and continued story!
I'm SOooooo glad you found your glasses Cheryl, what a relief!!!

Ohhhhh.. I'm so sorry you still haven't found them, how utterly frustrating! I also often have trouble locating my phone so I bought an inexpensive thingy to attach to it and on my keys have another piece that when I click it rings so I can find it. But, it's kind of hard to do that with glasses!
And, now I gave in and put the second thingy on my Amazon TV Fire remote because no matter how many times I tell myself NOT to remove it from the TV area, I do and then can't do a darn thing to watch TV unless I locate it...

Oh, I feel your pain and frustration. I'm never quite "right" until I find something I'm looking for. Wishing you continued luck. :beatingheart:

Thanks, Marilyn. I get the "not quite right" when something is lost. It was like I was obsessed for almost two day. That's all I could think about. Where could they be??? I guess we all lose stuff, but when it's our glasses, that's serious. I found a pair of my DD's readers that she keeps here and I did work in them the second day. I didn't even remember they were here the first day. They were ok, better than trying to work in my bifocals.
