Advent Calendar for kids

So cute, Eva.

My kids were stropping like mad this morning as I pulled out the year before last's calendars! My DH spoiled them last year with thse amazing Lego calendars and going back to USED items is not cutting the mustard! We've never done chocolate calendars but I'mguessing this might have to be the year for them.
 
I miss having little ones! I love hearing about everyone's Elf on a Shelf.

My SIL still gets kids the countdown chocolates, they pulled them out of the cabinet last night to get ready for today ;)

When they were little, we made countdown ribbons. 25 hershey kisses or peanut butter cups, hot glued to a red "velvet" ribbon. There was a bell on the bottom, and a little poem that Christmas would be here when you reached the bell. They still remember doing that with me.
 
I forgot to buy chocolate yesterday! Good thing he's 14 - you can reason with him. But I'm going to the store now to get some chocolate. He still has his little calendar that my mom made for him -98: 24 small socks to fill :)
 
I love advent calenders. My girls bothhave a chocolate one.
