im a font hoarder...i have so many i usually just write out what i want in my program it allows me to scroll through all my fonts so i can see what it looks like on the page before i apply it

Aack. I can't get off on a font tangent...must...not...click...links..........

I had to uninstall most of my fonts because I crashed Pages because of them. LOL

Now I scroll through, find the one I want and if it's not installed, install it!

I believe there's a way of using them without installing them. Haven't a clue how or if you can do this on a Mac or PC or both. Something to do with leaving the preview open - but don't quote me LOL There is likely to be another way as well.

here's another fontaholic because I sometimes make my own wordart for Ct purposes I needed a commercial licenced set - it has over 10.000 fonts in it.Well that's the excuse anyway.
( and I still download extra ones that I "must have"):grin:

If I'm after a certain look I check them out in CFont Pro .

Some font viewers allow you to install fonts temporarily which is a good thing as too many installed fonts can slow your photoshop down a lot.

If you use Windows, then Bitstream Font Navigator is something you could look at.

It's a commercial program you can get free, but it's tricky to get.
