A happy way to make a tiny work of art, either using scrapping supplies, or creating something from scratch using brushes, styles, etc. is to make a new Facebook Banner every month. To make it easier, I created a New Document with a width of 851 pixels and height of 315 pixels, and clicked "Save Preset," naming it Facebook Banner. I could never remember the size they are meant to be, so had to look it up every time I made a new one. Now I can just select it from the list of Document Types when opening a new document. Before posting, I save the tiny document as a jpg in a special folder for my banners, so I can use them more than once if I want to.
I never really understood ATCs before, but now I get it. So much fun to work with a small canvas!
LATER: Realizing I could never remember the size an avatar should be (150px by 150px), I made a New Document Type for an avatar too. Now I'm much more likely to participate in Avatar Challenges!
