I love the characters and animals in Lynne's kits - so fun to play with. I started with the fox sleeping in the hollow of the tree, then added the map reader. I found a companion for her in another kit, and then added a couple more foxes to complete the gathering.

For some reason bunnies have been showing up in my Facebook feed. So I decided I needed to make a bunny scene, (but not Easter).

It's beginning to feel like fall here in Texas. The temps have dropped considerably. The day I made this, it was also gloomy & rainy. Not complaining - we need the moisture. Plus, it was a good day to stay inside and read... or make scrap pages!

A World where you can explore, imagine & learn without any limitations. I love that quote! And I believe the mice here are not limited by the bowl.

I like how the mouse is reading to his mouse friends and all the other animals! If you listen carefully, you might even hear his squeaky voice!

And now for something completely different. I have a FB friend that posts constantly about UFO's, aliens, and alien abductions. Couldn't help but put this scene together.

My Granddaughter loves cats - so anything I make for her I try to have a cat somewhere in the scene. She likes other animals, too - but cats are her favorite. We also had quite a discussion about the cat and the mermaid. I asked if I needed to find a lid for the fishbowl, but she was confident...

I had so much fun with the dragon scene the other day... and then when my granddaughter said - "Should the egg be in a nest?" I had to make another scene with her brilliant idea!

I loved Norma's scene with Mr Pumpkinhead. And when I really looked at it, I realized there's still a ton of characters, papers, and elements from the Pumpkin Head kit that I still haven't used in any scenes - even though I've made so many! So using her idea, I created another Halloween scene...

I thought I was done making Halloween themed scenes... but then a photo of a raven popped up in my Facebook feed. He was sitting on a branch in front of some pumpkins. If you know me, once I see something that inspires me, I have to make a page.

I was inspired by the many scenes I've seen created with containers - bottles, jars, fishbowls. I wanted to try one for myself. It was a lot of fun making this first scene. I actually made 3 versions of it, but I think this is my favorite. It's quite easy to change up what's in the bottle...

Inspired again by another Harry Potter movie: Goblet of Fire. I tried to incorporate some of the elements from the Triwizard Tournament where Harry has to fight a dragon to retrieve a golden egg. Although in this scene, the young man might be a defender of dragons... I'm not sure. We'll see how...

I re-watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (the 3rd movie in the series). When I saw the scene where Harry flies the hippogriff I thought - that would make a great scrap scene! This is what I created with a similar feel.

I saw a travel poster for Mallorca, Spain the other day. It pictured a lovely cathedral framed by palm trees, and a sphinx-like statue in the foreground. I wanted to create something similar using only scrapbook graphics already on hand, and this is what I came up with.
