I love the characters and animals in Lynne's kits - so fun to play with. I started with the fox sleeping in the hollow of the tree, then added the map reader. I found a companion for her in another kit, and then added a couple more foxes to complete the gathering.
It's beginning to feel like fall here in Texas. The temps have dropped considerably. The day I made this, it was also gloomy & rainy. Not complaining - we need the moisture. Plus, it was a good day to stay inside and read... or make scrap pages!
And now for something completely different. I have a FB friend that posts constantly about UFO's, aliens, and alien abductions. Couldn't help but put this scene together.
My Granddaughter loves cats - so anything I make for her I try to have a cat somewhere in the scene. She likes other animals, too - but cats are her favorite.
We also had quite a discussion about the cat and the mermaid. I asked if I needed to find a lid for the fishbowl, but she was confident...
I had so much fun with the dragon scene the other day... and then when my granddaughter said - "Should the egg be in a nest?" I had to make another scene with her brilliant idea!
I loved Norma's scene with Mr Pumpkinhead. And when I really looked at it, I realized there's still a ton of characters, papers, and elements from the Pumpkin Head kit that I still haven't used in any scenes - even though I've made so many! So using her idea, I created another Halloween scene...
