Dodge and Burn on the foxes, hawk, and elf couple using Curves Adjustment--light/dark, invert each, and brush back on highlights and shadows. Also used Levels on hawk, elves and foxes, just clip levels adjustment to elements and then set blend mode to soft light. This helped them to stand out more.

I used a mask twice from the kit, reshaped it and clipped two different photos of mine to them.
