Wow, this is stunning and so eye-catching. The upside-down-ness and b/w treatment of the photo grabbed me immediately, suggesting a deeper story. When I read the journaling, the tear faucet went on. Sensitive, emotional, and beautiful work, and I hope maybe a bit healing, too.

I love the Scenic Templates because they really encourage playfulness with the focal photo. In this case, I was able to add elements to the photo that weren't there to begin with—the white “cloud” to the left and the shadows playing on the front of the hotel. Not to mention that threatening sky....
