Wonderful composition! Although there really is a lot on the page, it's artfully done and reads as minimalist. Lovely work and a great heritage piece!

Kay's template made this so easy. The background is a single paper from the kit with a drawing blended over it, then many of the kit overlays and brushes layered over that. Clip the pictures onto the template masks, add the clusters, word art, and title.

    Sweet Spring

My kid sister and me. She's so darling. This LO is really simple: the background has several brushes on it under the photos, add overlays and elements over the photo, the word art and title and it's done.
  7. What Face Today

    What Face Today

Here's my Vicki Robinson Art Journaling LO: to make i started with a single background paper, then the book paper. I added the faces and embellished them, then added paint, brushes, and overlays to the background, then more of those items to the book behind the faces. Finish up with the bottom...

    Small Blessings

Journaling reads: There is every real possibility this was the last time my great grandfather was well enough to enjoy the company of his beloved granddaughters, my mother Ann Winter and her cousin Mary Morton who is sitting in his lap. Just 7 1/2 months later, 4 days past Mary’s second...

It's pretty simple. It's been about 17 years since I switched so it may be different now. I just used te import function, it took me through some preferences and it was done..

@Hamer Lodge er Debra, there are many of them now and some of them have free versions, it helps you stay organized. I use Clooz, a digital file cabinet along with the Legacy to help keep me straight. I still have close to a thousand documents to enter but it's one and done with couple of...

    Pets watching television

My cat does some - she tries to catch whatever she sees so we had to mount the TV on the wall where she souldn't reach it! Mostly, though, she likes a lap to sleep in and wakes up when the TV goes silent.

    Do You Use Genealogy Software?

I do and I would be lost without it. I started out on Family Tree Maker but FTM was too expensive to maintain and didn't have features I wanted - like attacking photos and documents to my entries. After trying a few others, I settled on Legacy and have been well-satisfied since. I have been...

Do you have favorite colors? Seems I do

I'm right there with you @tanteva and with you, too, @scrap-genie. I see lots of blues, greens, and spots of yellow. I see pink, too, but I am not a pink person at all. It must have been all those cotton candy pink rooms when I was younger. I like it okay and use it, but it's not my...

Marilyn, I LOVE this! The 40s were such an interesting and pivotal time. I think your LO visually shows that with the mix of contemporary and traditonal elements. The photo is fabulous!

Help with Photo Dating - Post your requests here
