The computer genealogy group went off well today. We're starting to have almost as much fun as in a live meeting. We even now eat lunch together like in person. Then I do a final talk after. We go from 9:30 to 2, so a long meeting. So, since the early morning it's now officially spring! Here...

I guess I've now done that first thing. Last night I went into our favorite pub to get take-out. Haven't done that in almost a year. It was wonderful seeing several of the regular servers and getting to talk with one who was in for take-out too.
Yesterday was wonderful. It was still chilly, but sunny. After going to the library we went to a nature center that has boardwalks into a small marsh. In March everything looks so brown and barren, but the birds made spring feel really here. Many were singing like Red-winged Blackbirds...
We're going out in a few minutes, but just want to tell of the fun we're having. This is day four of having Common Redpolls at our feeders. The first day a few, then at least 7 for two days and today more than 12!! We've not had these "winter finches" in the yard except for one winter very long...
