There's a whole gnome culture on Ravelry and Instagram, with KALs and mystery gnomes and the like, and if you check out imaginedlandscapes you will inevitably link to those, too. You Tube is full of her videos and there's lots of nifty tips and tricks. It's fun! (Socks scare the heck out of me.)

I love how they match! This is an adorable crew, and Santa will NOT disappoint, I am sure. I like the little Santa/"24" token instead of a big title. It's a subtle approach and allows the photos to speak for themselves.

Thanks! It takes a bit to get used to the small double-pointed needles, but the project was definitely a skill-builder for me. They all are a little different, you're right, and I use a variety of patterns from imaginedlandscapes.com. Then I usually do a mashup, taking a bit from one patterns...

I'm drawn to the dimension you created in this page. It's so vibrant. Sorry to hear about Arlo. We saw Bruce Cockburn in concert and it was the same thing...we call it "mailing it in." He even said at one point he was touring for the $. Your design work makes up for Arlo though.

That's an adorable little lighthouse--there are three similar on Cape Cod called the Three Sisters. Good choice of holiday embellishment, as the signposts complement the nautical navigation theme.
