Congrats! What an awesome addition to the team!!

We have a home network set up but don't have any additional equipment. It was just set up through Windows 7 - home group and network. I didn't set it up myself but its great to transfer files back and forth between our two desktops, laptop and netbook.

Right away I delete the really bad ones and get rid of about half of the duplicated shots. I don't do any processing though until I need the photos for scrapping or printing.

I use it for digi supplies mainly, not so much for photos. It is pretty time consuming to get everything tagged or keyworded. I was lucky that I hadn't built up too much of a stash when I started. Once you're up to date though, its pretty easy. You just need to use a tagging system that works...
