We've a long ways to go to look like this, but it's been chilly enough recently to feel about the same.

Are You Decorating for the Fall Season?

I put my wreaths between the front and storm doors. Guess mine aren't very thick. Other fall decor is a pot of artificial mums attended by three small, crocheted pumpkins @faerywings inspired me to make a few years ago. @BrightEyes I love your copper ones.

Do You Have Any Celebrities on Your Tree?

Susie @pachimac , that means we are related (very, very . . . . distantly) as John Lothrop's daughter Jane and her husband Samuel Fuller (Mayflower) are my ancestors way back. His meeting house (in which he lived?) in Barnstable, Massachusetts, is now the Sturgis Library which you can visit...

Sure did work to get in all the photos! Love the crop of the big photo. Don't like thinking about the cold fingers though.

October projects - What have you been up to??

@wombat146 Ona, I totally love what you've got here! So creative and vibrant. I say go for the red tartan and scribbles too (but testing it would be good.)
  7. Seriously?

    Seriously?

It could be "seriously?" you HAVE to take my picture - or from my point of view, seriously, you can't give me a better view? This Gray Catbird was at the neighbors' eating elderberries but we also saw some in our yard from this time (July 26) and during August eating the berries on our silky...

DH got nice photos of this bunny, one that we see in our yard. They run off but freeze if you're looking at them.

Do You Have Any Celebrities on Your Tree?

Those of us in the U.S. with early New England ancestors are usually related to a ton of other Americans including many famous/infamous ones. Also many U.S. presidents, most recently Barack Obama (though I've forgotten the long lines that link us). The most famous of my ancestors was a fifth...

Did you have favorite childhood books?

I read all those too. My library had a section of them and yes, orange covers.

Did you have favorite childhood books?

I also read all the horse books including the Walter Farley black stallion ones. A favorite thanks to my sister was Wind in the Willows. I read children's biographies, Nancy Drew, beyond that I don't currently remember.
