To create the horizontal line, I used the rectangular mask 3 times to continue the background image. The circular lace mask was given an embossed filter and a lace shadow for definition. The background paper was duplicated and a multiply style added to make it darker.
Good idea to rotate the sketch to suit the shape of the image. I also think the circular paint stains gives a great contrast to the vertical but also helps bring the focus to the player.
I love fabric and sewing even though my hands can't hold a needle anymore. This looks like a true labor of love. Clever way to scrap a page and document your project.
