I have to admit that I'm not too great about being unplugged these days. We go to the lake quite a bit too all year round. I ended up getting a mobile USB stick which is great! I only wish it worked outside of North America for when we're traveling.

I'm so glad the days are starting to get noticeably longer now. That really helps to alleviate the winter blues. We get a lot of low cloud around here in the winter which makes things pretty gloomy, although its not usually that cold.

I have been very lucky and done a lot of traveling both when I was younger and over the past couple of years. There's still lots on the bucket list though! DH and I have talked of doing a house exchange in Italy for a month, also a trip to Peru to Machu Picchu and all the other wonderful sights...

How awful - hope your files can be recovered!!! You've created a great page out of the disaster though.
