I'm going with the concept of peace and the peaceful images you provided.

I'm not sure serenity is a goal for me, but perhaps, as scenes like this are compelling.

The glads in your mood board were an instant reminder.

August always meant glads for my mother-in-law and they are so lovely. Now they are a reminder of her.

Exciting challenge and I love the Pinterest examples. Hope 1970 is vintage enough. The photo was printed back then and taken with an Argus C3 (not a SLR) handed down to me from my mother.

I've always liked this picture of my DH but "free for all" was a fun way to brighten it and revive the days when we were young.

Sometimes photos of before and after the sing alongs are as good as ones while they play. Also easier to get pictures of DH before the seats are filled.

I usually struggle with white space, but I'm drawn to challenges for it for some reason. Hope this is sufficiently minimalist.

In nice weather a few artists work together outside our art teacher's house. It is a nice place to work and a congenial atmosphere. This was a piece done earlier this year when I was doing the 100 day challenge and this small work was part of that.
