I have just spent about 45 minutes trying to decide what kit to work with... the whole process made even more complicated by the fact that I didn't know what I wanted to scrap about.... in the end I chose WHEN by Lynn Grieveson - because one of the wordarts caught my eye - "when will it stop"...
Thank you for this super challenging challenge. I know some people rock this kind of pages, but I personally struggle with them.
6 elements: frame, transfer, tag, dry grass and two word arts
Created for this month's challenge #1 - White Space with no more than 7 elements.
In addition to the background paper and the photo itself, I used
1. frame
2. transfer
3. wordart
4. wordart
5. tag behind the photo
6. dry grass
I love looking at white space layouts - and Oscrap's gallery is...
:) glad to help! In fairness though, when I started needing screenshots, I had to google how to do that in the most pain-free way :) so no, you are not the only one trying to make sense of all these settings and options :)
the graying part does make sense, but the word-looking document does not... hmm... my computer does exactly what is described here
https://www.theverge.com/23030210/screenshots-windows-11-how-to
if you don't like the default location of your screenshots, you can change it following these...
It is still the same in Windows 11 - hit print screen... and now you have the option of choosing if you want the whole screen or just a part... and the image will go to a default folder (you can change the destination folder if you want)...
or am I missing something?
Thank you Kythe! I like to be practical about my scrapping hence the multi-photo pages. But arranging several photos on a page both creatively and beautifully is a challenge - so I often use templates to jumpstart a layout and help me step out of the box.
This is the companion page to one of my previous layouts (see below). I enjoyed scrapping it immensely, but couldn't help wondering why I chose this particular kit in the first place - of why I keep using kits off-theme... I must have been in trance while making the first page - there is too...
