I really like the nautical feel here! I love how you used the hand-drawn elements and made them look like a blended photo with sketch effect applied! It's not easy to get the proportions right but you did a wonderful job here!

Oh, yeah, we've all been there... I find it helpful to NOT scrap at least one day a week - I usually try to keep my Saturdays scrap-free and this way I get to miss it a bit. Going through galleries and looking at other people's layouts helps immensely!
