Although it doesn't look like it, this page was originally inspired by this month's Challenge 4 - Moodboard. It is also the left sige fo the two-page spread documenting my daughter's birthday earlier this August. I applied all of the same filters to the photos ( black and white filter with blend...
Thank you for the challenge! Not being a professional photographer and having to take photos of all sort of unwilling models in all sorts of circumstances... applying filters is something I do very often. Here is my page...
Here are some of the original photos...
This page was inspired by this month's Challenge 1 - Creative Photo Editing. Using filters and playing with blend modes is something I do very often when creating pages. I work with my own photos which - more often than not - are not perfect. The angle is wrong, the lighting is insufficient, the...
This is the companion page to my earlier layout... I love these FotoInspired templates that allow me to put a number of photos on the page without making it feel too busy...
What a lovely story! Truly a blast from the past.... how the life has changed... Love the nostalgic vibe on your page! I definitely would get the typewriter working - just to feel young again... If you have a photo of you from your college days - the then-and-after page would be total must-do!

Experimenting with the color pink - not usually my color but I liked the kit and thought I'd give it a go... it was fun to create something different than a memory keeping page... not sure I intended for the page to look like an advert, but hey... why not... Thank you for looking.
Thank you for the challenge, Karen. We are not technically empty nesters yet, but it is coming... I used the freebie and added papers and elements from the main collection.
Page created for the Use-It-All challenge by Karen Schulz here. I also used the rest of the collection. I used the mask to blend the blue papers into the background, so they might not be seen much, but they are there.
Empty nest is something that is coming soon - it is DD's last year with us...
I am always baffled by these questions... as the answer depends on the person and the stuff that needs organizing... in case of heritage/genealogy the most obvious answer would be either chronologically or by person/branch of the family... depending on how much material exists. I also find that...
