Yep, flipping the template can make a page look completely different... and simply moving the elements in a cluster works wonders for variety...

Oh, I know what you mean.. timing is crucial... I try to finish my albums and then wait until they have a good deal, something like 60% off with free delivery... and sometimes I do finish an album and it sits there waiting... and sometimes I spot a deal, grab a coupon and end up scrapping like...

I know what you mean... When creating albums for different people, one needs to personalize them... You should try extraction - it's a great way to add a good photo without adding a photo :)

I love these templates - especially the vertical calendar on the side... I have a few of those templates in my stash too. I love seeing real life documented

A lot of the pages I share here are from my album - public (and English language) versions of them... I print my albums on Photobookworldwide.com 11x11 in layflat binding (for some reason they don't have 12x12). The one I printed was for my parents - so it included photos of our time spent...

On the topic of scrapping for albums ... While creating original pages is fun, sometimes, if I really like a page, I reuse the design for other albums I create as gifts for my family - I obviously wouldn't want to have a clone in my own album... here are the two pages that illustrate what I mean...

Do you create multiple versions of the same page for different albums? This one was created by cannibalizing one of my previous layouts - and will go into a different album for different people...
