The days at sea continue as the ship sailed from Greenland to Iceland - still looking for whales but not luck, walk deck and ate fish which I normally don't and it was delish and finally ended with spectacular night lights

It was our 4th day in a row at sea and the passengers were restless lol. So the Captain sent out a tinder and they collected sea ice cubes for us all to try. It was hysterical to watch them try and collect the ice with out falling in the sea.

these are photos of the icebergs that kept us from Greenland - the map with black lines shows how we should have gone, the pink shows hopeful but not to be - but going by all the ice was spectacular

the cruise tried to get into the Greenland ports but as can be seen in these photos the icebergs and just ice was too much - but we did get to see cool birds - northern fulmar and kittiwakes but only photos of the fulmar

My cruise continues. After Newfoundland we were headed to Greenland. We began hearing that the ports in Greenland were iced in and would have to be missed. However we had a beautiful sunset and saw our first iceberg - color vs no color.

Our house went through this a couple of years ago. Not as old as your but early 1900s. A money pit is what I called mine. I should have documented it all so the kids will know when we leave this house. But I too will not leave my house! awesome page!
These are views for L'Anse aux Meadows a UNESCO World Heritage site. Anne was responsible for proving this was a Viking settlement but her husband got the initial credit as women could not be credited. Not only did we see the original site but also enjoy the reinactmets and structures.
Thanks...
