Oh my goodness this is unbelievable! I've seen it in the news, but didn't pay much attention, being so far south. What a special sight, beautifully captured! Perfect use of the palette!
I wasn't sure these photos were working together, but I always remind myself, it's about story, and these are the things that happened on the weekend - a beautiful sunset (at 6:15 - we just made it!) and playing in the park with Oz and his family.

My favorite part is the way you've capped the trees with element clusters! At first I thought it was a view of people with big backpacks - then I looked more carefully and see they are chairs - ah, much more my style these days. Lovely color and nice division of the page!
