These are incredible photos (always love an under-the-pier shot), not only love the one color photo but placing the color photo behind the black and white is very effective and different!
I love the addition of the frame, adds a nice focal point. It's fun to see the same tree transfer image in several pages (mine represents seaweed :-) )
I love the idea of using a former layout in a frame of the current page! It's interesting how "snowy white" really appears blue, especially in contrast with the beige/gray, which I really like

This is fabulous! I love these old palettes, too! Those words, so wise, I should read them to my grandson ;-) The inclusion of the black mask really makes for a pop of contrast and drama!
I am fascinated with the concept of where people live, and why, for example, there you are living where it snows! Getting photos and rolling with things is so admirable. This is a lovely photo, with great contrast with the dark background.
