Ana, you must be an artist: there is a lot to love in this layout, but the "diagonal" design (for want of a better description) is really creative! I don't know how you made that work, but you certainly did!

Oh, I am so glad you mentioned that you used the Pin Light blending mode; I ALWAYS forget to try that one! I won't forget next time! It literally looks like he's been buried in the paper and he's breaking free. What an incredible special-effect! Thank you so much for taking the time to document...

Maggie, that is absolutely terrifying! That "witch" is perfectly awful! What an amazing job you did! The way you laid out the branches is so claustrophobic! With the wall coming out and the cemetery so close to it, this is the stuff of nightmares! WOW!!!!!

Marijke, you were the adult I was looking for! On the page where you upload the photo, it says 350 x 350, so that's the size I was making it :ohwell: I tried 200 x 200 and it says the upload failed. Well, if this is the worst thing that happens this weekend, it's been a pretty good weekend...

Oh, Marnie! HOW PERFECTLY DARLING! That photo is just precious! It might have been a challenge to scrap, but you make it look so easy! That color scheme is to die for! It has got to be so tiresome to document each step you do, but I am saving this to copy! Excellent technique and so perfect for...

Hello, Ladies! I should have introduced myself earlier, but I wanted to have a proper avatar before I did; I've now tried about 10 times and still can't get it up even after the tutorial in the Need Help thread, ha ha! I think it's time to call an adult! I'm so in heaven with all the...

Oh, I love the beautiful colors! Seeing the sea in the sepia tones makes it so haunting and beautiful! The textures of the beach and the faint writing in the "skyline" adds such depth and character to the image! Wonderful job!

I never would have thought to put the brown, "twiggy" window pane there, WOW! Creates a focal point while tying everything together. Such a traditional concept with perfect execution! Bravo!

If anything were to be taken away from this composition, it would be ruined. The balance is absolutely perfect! I never thought a woman with green hair would be so perfect!

I know this could not have been easy to create! It's so perfect, it looks easy--you know, like Fred Astaire dancing--but either you are a master scrapper to have created this in just a few minutes (relatively speaking), or if you spent a lot of time on it, a master distiller of fine wines...

DK, I LOVE THIS! WOW! Like everyone else has said, that owl is amazing! With just his eyes, he becomes an abstraction, then, putting human glasses on him, he becomes unfamiliar but humanized at the same time, creating a really unique encounter in experiencing a subject that we see so often in...

The shadows from the petals coming through are amazing! And the "doodles" (I'm not sure their technical designation) on the right side of the canvas are just perfect! The color, size, opacity, and positioning adds so much to the feel of the flowers! Beautiful!
