Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma Bahamas

Here's one of my panoramic shots for the July Camera Corner Challenge (this is a total of 13 photos in portrait mode merged using Photoshop CS6) and then to fill in the details, it also uses Content Aware Fill - another awesome feature of both CS5 and CS6 (but even more refined in the newest...

Hi Irene, the fixed length on the 24mm will produce excellent results but as you noted there will be some vignetting. That can always be corrected with Lightroom or Photoshop. I sent you a PM with some other thoughts :-) Cheers, M.

Genoa, Italy - The Cathedral of San Lorenzo

Founded in probably the 5th or 6th century AD, this cathedral was consecrated by Pope Gelasius II in 1118. It is an awesome spectacle, with its two towering lions guarding the entrance to the church. Excavations inside the Cathedral have unearthed walls and pavements dating back to Roman...

    Port of Genoa, Italy

In May & June 2011, one of the ports our Princess Cruise was intended to stop at was Portofino, however very bad weather prevented that from happening, and instead we visited the port of Genoa instead. These are some of the highlights of our visit on an overcast, cloudy and somewhat rainy...

Hi Barb, I forwarded a brief message a couple of days ago, however I'm not sure it was received - perhaps I made a mistake in attempting to send. I have been inspired by a number of layouts you have in the gallery, and always take something interesting away from your "art" :-) I noticed...

    Portofino, Italy

For those of you who have not had the privilege of visiting this spectacular little village nestled along the Italian Riviera, I highly recommend that you put it on your "bucket list" of things to do. This was shot two weeks ago on our most recent trip to Europe - right about where...

Barb, your layouts always inspire me. Always works of art, and always something interesting that I take away from the page(s). In some cases, I even find myself asking "how did she do that" and it makes me want to reach out to ask the question :-) Cheers, M.

That goes 'ditto' for me too :-) I have found several shots in my 25,000+ photo library of things I want to do in this watercolour style - and as I posted last night, I've started to identify some for a photo book that will be dedicated strictly to watercolour layouts. Awesome result Marnie...

Irene, great shot and location. How are you enjoying that new 100-400mm L series lens :-) We just got back from two weeks in Europe, so I have 2,200+ photos to post-process now - but also a lot of material to work with for a couple of new ePhoto books !! Cheers, M.

WOO HOO !!! Nice Canon "L" series lens Irene, now I'm jealous after all of our discussion this week :-) Is that the 100-400mm f/4 ? And how big a sale was it, here in Canada, we rarely see "big sales" for L series lenses :-( Really happy for you. Can't wait to see some...
