I fell in love with the soft colors of the kit and didn't want them to fight with strong colors in a photo. The picture I was scrapping had some bright flowers in it, so I used a photo mask to soften the edges and opacity of the photo. I took a clipping mask from Romy's Kit, Peach Cobbler, duplicated the layers, then merged them. I created a new layer and brushed some black paint over it. After doing this several times, I merged all of the layers, took an eraser and softened up some more of the edges.
