This is LO is made with two different photos creating one single composite,
one photo is used for the background and one used in the frame.
The took advantages of the slopes on the photos creating the illusion of continuity from one to the other.
I used the clone tool to complete many areas of the background as the photo was rather narrow.
I used few papers as background and I played with blending modes on each paper,
until I got some colors that created the the background impression sketch.
Both images were treated with watercolor techniques,
the overall color schema was clearly influence by the stained glow used.
The focal small image was treated with filter fresco effect and watercolor techniques, and watercolor brushes,
I changed during the process the opacity, scale and direction of the brush,
always using the same brush with large surface and well defined edges.
