This is a photo from my grandmother's album (1913). The names of the children weren't given, but they are relatives of hers, younger cousins (there were 14 children on her father's side of the family).

Process
Solid paper 4 from APP Coastline was used as the base for the page. The photo was clipped to a Coastline FotoBlendz mask (blending mode of the mask was changed to darken to allow for some texture to show through). Using a soft black brush (reduced opacity) the areas around the faces were painted in on the mask. Transfer 7 was layered under the photo with the blending mode changed to color burn. A layer mask was added and portions of the transfer were brushed out. This was duplicated, flipped horizontally and placed on the opposite side of the page, creating a continuous horizon. Overlay1 and transfer 6 from the kit were added to create the sky (blending mode changed to darken with a reduced opacity). Several brushes were layered on (recolored). Word art, embellishments and MM Shells (some of the layers turned off) were added to complete the page.
