The Sandhill Crane

Sandhill Cranes are native to Ohio, but they were pushed out of the state in the 1930's. Now they are making a comeback. The Cranes are among the oldest bird species on the planet. One fossil dates back 2.5 million years. They inhabit wetlands across the state from Pickaway Co south of Columbus to Williams Co in the northwest corner

Interesting facts about the Sandhill cranes. Love the frame layers and earthy tones! I've seen some in Florida.

fantastic photos, blending and clustering. love those little red accents responding to the head feathers of the cranes.
thank you for the interesting information about these birds.

Love your layout and photos! That postage stamp you have made is perfect. I've yet to see one of these beautiful creatures but they do have them migrating through my state of Washington.
