St Michael's Mount

Viv's recent page of Marazion reminded me of our visit there in 2015 so I dug out some photographs and this is the view looking the other way towards St Michael's Mount.

I clipped the photograph to one of the fotoblenz and then fiddled about with curves trying to lighten the trees surrounding the mount. I eventually duplicated the photograph used color dodge then erased everything leaving the trees on a layer at 68% fill. The sky is a selection of transfers from Sky Transfers No1, a couple on color burn mode. The frame is sandwiched behind the fotoblendz and transfers finished with strips of paper cut from the other frame, paper strip element and leaf, word strip etc.
Background Artsy paper is from AP Coastline.

Lots of work to get those trees to shine. They look like the location for an adventure film. I like the frame disappearing into the sky.

Wonderful blending and texture! Love how the photo spills out of the frame.

adore everything, but especially your framing and the cluster work! amazing photo also.
