I started out with the template just to give me some ideas for blending and placement of my elements. I blended my photo into the mask then resized it much smaller since I wanted it to feel almost like I was hiding, or as an afterthought.
I wanted to stamped rings to look a bit more glossy so I added a Bevel/Contour style to that layer. I moved around the rest of the elements so I felt they had a better sense of balance to what I was expressing and removed some of the grunge layers from the template to lighten the LO.

Journaling reads: There are days when it feels like it is too much to deal with life. Who wants to be social when you feel like crap? On those days if the weather is cooperating. I head outside to work in my gardens. Dirt Therapy is cheaper and much more effective than counseling!
