Inspired by Van Gogh's The Great Wave of Kanagawa
Journaling reads:
Greek legend tells the story that Poseidon greatly desired Amphitrite as his wife, but she fled as far from him as possible. He sent all the creatures of the sea to find her, but all failed until finally a dolphin found her and convinced her to consider his suit. She finally decided to marry him. The ceremony was lavish with many Gods and goddesses attending. Amphitrite became queen of the sea. She can be seen riding in her golden chariot pulled by seahorses or on a dolphin or a sea serpent. Indeed, some believe she can become either creature as she travels the oceans to control the waves and tides.
Background is textured paper 30 in Hard Light mode over all elements and papers except for text and title. The base papers are paper piece 11 enlarged to 12 X 12 with a layer mask and gradient added to the bottom to blend it over underwater paper 1. I then extracted Poseidon from the photo and applied it over the base and added the cloud element. Over the clouds is paper piece 10 in Pin Light Mode, then added the wave elements. The dolphin was then added in Lighten mode. The dolphin is not part of the collection. I added the fish and adjusted the saturation so they were more visible. Added text and Title.
