Thanks for the compliments about the extraction. However, the truth is that I suck at extractions. What I did in this layout was blend the photo (Nicholas in an all white snow background) with Sue's blue snowfall matte (I think it was multiply). Then used the white snowfall frame over the top. I did erase parts of the matte that was on Nicholas. I guess that is why it has an extraction look.
