Mrs. Morris

This is Fern Morris.

The back of the photo says: "Several of the children had Kodaks and took my pictures, much against my wish. This is one of them. Fern Morris teacher Monon Indiana"

I did a little research and found the school she taught at then promptly lost the information and can't find it. But, I know that she was out sick for a while.

Process...
I started with one of the artsy papers from the new AP Mistletoe. I masked the photo over the the paper and added some transfers and brushes (all from AP Mistletoe). Then I created a composite of the image (CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + e) and masked the composite A BUNCH of times using the Evergreen FotoBlendz. I modified the masks to eliminate the bottom portion of the page. The title and journaling are included in one of the masks to lighten them. I also masked that big camera image over the photo. I added the MM Branch and duplicated the green bead a couple of times, reducing its size. Added the date and it was done.

Thanks for looking :)
I don't like my photo either! love how the page has such a fragile feel to it with the cracks you have created - I am glad that there was at least one photo! you do make old photos look their best!

Masking the title and text...hmmmmmm. It makes for such a real feel on the page. I'll be trying that.... Loving the strong central focus on this one.

Congrats on the well-deserved GSO Finger Pointing on Dec 7 2018 for your amazing Mrs. Morris page!

Congrats on the GSO! I've been taking in the wonderful complexity of the background...and always appreciate the inclusion of personal handwriting!
