Mona's Orchids
A layout I did last night of some orchids I found in flower when I got home!
Journaling reads:
I was so excited this evening when I came home from
work to find that my King Orchid was in flower!
It normally doesnt bloom until around late September!
The main plant was given to my late mother-in-law, Mona,
over 30 years ago. I salvaged the plant when it
was about to get dumped at the rubbish tip!
I have quite a number of smaller clumps now
throughout the garden. Funnyily enough,
they never flowered for her, but each year
when they come out in glorious blooms, I like
to think that Mona is looking after them for me.
