Meet my dad journaling:
My dad was born in 1933, in Amsterdam. He grew up during the 2nd word war, his dad died at a very young age. Family life was not easy in the big city. He did not finish school and left without any diploma. He learned everything in life in practice. Funny that the only picture I have of him as a young boy is a school picture!
