Products on Sale in the Store 24th July


The products on sale this week are right up my alley so to speak.

I have been working with loads of images from my recent trip to London as you would not doubt have worked out from my postings!!!

I started this with my usual 12 x 12 page and selected the ArtsyPaper from APP Downtown.

I then selected a FotoBlenz from AASPN_DowntownFotoBlenz1 to use to clip my image to. I placed the PhotoBlenz on its own layer to the left of the page near the white section of the ArtsyPaper.

Once I selected my image that I had manipulated on my iPad, I clipped it to the FotoBlenz via Layer Create Clipping Mask ALT + CTRL + G.

From there I embellished the piece with text and brushes using the Brushes and transfers from APP Downtown. Each was placed on their own layers and then moved around till I was satisfied with their placing. A couple I lowered the opacity slightly to make them blend in more.

The text I selected from AASPN_DowntownWordART1 and extended it bigger by selecting CTRL+T to free transform it and make it the size I wanted. I placed it on its own layer near the edge of the picture for dramatic effect.

Finally, I selected a brush from the palette of the swirl and placed it under the text as a bit of flourish.
