My baby isnt so much of a baby anymore.
Through all the years and all the milestones, Ive thrilled to watch you explore and conquer your world.
This is the first time I can really remember having that feeling of wishing time would slow down.
As we walked through the halls of your new school (Jr. High - OMG!), struggled to get your locker open, find
all of your classes, etc, I marvelled at your 'accept life as it comes attitude.
When I dropped you off for that first day, I was nervous for you and found myself wishing a bit for those early, seemlingly easy days.
But then when I picked you up and saw your brilliant smile and you reported a successful day, I couldnt help but feel tremendous pride in the young man you are.
Alyx, my son, I am so very, very proud of the young man you are and I wouldnt change you for the world!
