We were working in the yard on a gorgeous autumn day. It was just too gorgeous to work. The little red Corvette came out of the garage and we cruised along the winding roads of the park, enjoying the sunshine and fall foliage.
Process
A solid paper from APP Autumn Rust was used as the foundation for the page. The photo was clipped to the large white paint layer of Artsy Transfers Autumn Rust_1. The photo was duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light. A Warm Glow was clipped to the photo with the blending mode changed to linear burn. The photo was duplicated again. This time it was clipped to a FotoBlendz Overlay 15 mask and layered above the artsy transfer. The blending mode of the photo was changed to screen. The leaf transfer (blending mode color burn) from AT Autumn Rust_1 was duplicated 2 times and layered over the new image. An Urban Stitchez leaves 2_3 was added. A gold color overlay was clipped to the stitchez. The leaves were duplicated 2 more times, rotating their position. Color overlays were clipped to them. The page was completed by adding, mini dots, artstrokes, taped textures, a paper texture, word art and dimensional embellishments.
Well done. Now THAT is how it is supposed to work. We did similar recently, shutting the door on the dust and clutter and going for a little climb in Minnewaska State Park instead of spending the day on chores.
