July AJ Challenge Week 2 {COURAGE}

Created for the July Art Journaling Challenge Week 2. Our word prompt for July is COURAGE. I was inspired by one of the quotes I found:
"You must learn to be strong in the dark as well as in the day, else you will always be only half brave." ~ George MacDonald

This quote, about being strong in the dark, really hit home for me. I don't do very well at night - when I'm alone. That's when the emptiness and the sadness sneaks in.

I used Black Water by Crafty Button Designs to create my blended background. The rest of my page was created with Solace by mixed media by erin.

Oh my goodness, Amy, thank you for all you said. You all have helped me get through this period of my life SO much - more than you'll ever know. Scrapping my grief journey has been very difficult, but freeing and I'm so blessed by all of you and your unwavering support. :heartpumpred::hug3::hug1::grouphugyay:
