The Story:
Last summer when we went to England, we were able to fly business class thanks to a glut of airline miles that I have been collecting for a LONG time. This mode of air travel comes with more perks than what Ella and Luke are accustomed to, including a white porcelain dish of warmed mixed nuts during the flight. Luke took a shine to this savory snack and termed them *hot nuts.* Just over 6 months later, we waited in line to board an internal Southwest economy flight to Orlando, Florida. Luke piped up, Mom. Do you think were going to get hot nuts on this flight? Of course, a little older now than they were last Summer, the word *nuts* has taken on a whole new meaning, of the less savory variety. We all burst out laughing and *hot nuts* has now become one of those awesome inside family jokes that instantly cracks a smile and prompts us to relive the memory. Process Notes:
Clip the focal photo to the mask of the TNT template :: Blended photo is achieved using a layer mak and Gradient tool plus Overlay blending mode - I added Overlay to the image, duplicated and desaturated the copy :: Added Vivid Light blending mode to the WarmGlows and adjusted the Opacity slightly :: Stamped the WordMix brush in white on a new layer.
