Journaling:
The drive to Yellowstone was 9 1/2 hours. Our room in the Old House was on the third floor on the front of the building facing the geysers. There was no wifi and no phone service. There were short periods of bright sun and then snow squalls, and sometimes both at once.

I love the sense of place this evokes. And using that little embroidered leaf as a tree is genius. Hope to get to Yellowstone (and the Inn) someday--we stayed at the Ahwahnee (before the name change) at Yosemite and it was such a trip.

Love how you combined the little houses to create a hotel, however, I'd miss wifi!!!!

That is a long drive but so worth it even with the snow squalls and no wifi! love the stitched home! beautiful page!
