This layout was inspired by a layout by Viv/profolly and by the AnnaLift Challenge that Nancy/NAdams posted. I loved Viv's layout was about fashion and sewing, so I decided to create a fashion layout, too. The challenge included using at least 3 of the 5 challenge colors, using stacks of photos and papers (papers stacked behind the lower photo), and paint transfers (in the background on the right).
I started by selecting the fashion photos featuring a lavender colored dress, which is one of the challenge colors. Then I found Anna's stitched white paper and blended two of the Coolth paint transfers onto it. I used Anna's Postage Frames to give the fashion photos a rectangular shape as well as texture and dimension.
Anna's products mix well with many other designers' kits and collections and they're welcomed in the challenge. As I looked for embellishments, I discovered that Natali Design's Captured All in One had the lavender color and the dusty blue color from the challenge. I liked the yellow flower, so I added it, too. Natali's collection also had a terrific gray and white herringbone paper, so I tucked that underneath in the back. And it had some stacked papercuts which I added underneath the lower photo, to the left.
The remaining embellishments are from Anna Aspnes' ArtPlay Palette Epiphany, her UrbanThreadz No 3, and her Milieu WordART Mix No 1.
