Denning's Point

This is the right-hand page of a template spread documenting a recent hike with one of my daughters, where we saw nesting bald eagles and explored old factory ruins. The lady with the binocs, a member of our Bird Club who we just happened to meet on the trail, is looking at the eagle right before it dove into the nest with its mate--so we saw both of them in the nest. Pretty fabulous. The other half of the spread is at https://oscraps.com/community/media/madam-brett.376447/ . This particular template didn't feature a Hipster Plume (a decorative element that was prominent on the adjoining page), so I imported one from another template in the set and recolored it. (I also pirated a slender Fotoblendz to add the photo at the left edge.) The green leaves poking out at top right are from the Gallivant Artplay Palette. The reddish cast at both edges comes from terra-cotta stains.

Wow, goldens are hard to spot. I thought I saw one once, but it was just a juvenile bald. I do still love to watch them soar. One has been around my back yard off and on. He is always being chased by the crows!
Your crow comment! It's ospreys, too! Just got back from Cape Cod and there was a big showdown between a resident bald who decided to occupy an osprey nest and the returning osprey...I did not expect the osprey to drive out the eagle but that's exactly what happened. I'm guessing the eagle was a first-time nester.
