Day 6 Good King Wenceslas

Good King Wenceslas has been my most favourite Xmas carol for many many years!!

If you can just pretend that the young woman is actually a man and that the packages in her arms are actually pieces of wood for fuel, then this will make much better sense. The mailbox indicates where she lives and the song says she lives next to the forest fence - which probably means next to the forest. Hence we have a forest!!

I can only work with what I got!! LOL

Love this layout. I remember the very first time that I ever heard this song. I was in my 20's and had a chorus part in a stage production in Des Moines, Iowa of a Christmas Carol. We sang this song and did a dance...hadn't thought about that memory for a very long time. I had never heard the song before then.

You did a beautiful job blending the music, love the forest along the bottom with the lady and her packages. And those cute little birds at the top! Great job on the challenge.
